Christmas Truths

NOTE:  This video is 41 minutes long and needs your full attention.
It is my Christmas gift to you.

“Now it came about in those days that a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that a census be taken of all the inhabited earth.  This was the first census taken while Quintus was governor of Syria.  And all were proceeding to register for the census, everyone to his own city.

“And Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the city of Nazareth to Judea to the city of David, which is Bethlehem, because he was of the house and family of David, in order to register, along with Mary, who was engaged to him, and was with child.

“And it came about that while they were there, the days were completed for her to give birth.  And she gave birth to her first-born son; and she wrapped Him in cloths and laid Him in a manger be, because there was no room for them in the inn.” Luke 2:1-7

Once the world discovered persuasive writing – advertising, stories and news became further from the truth.  Sometimes innocently based on personal bias, invested emotions, what was ‘seen as right in someone’s eyes’ or what was ‘acceptable for the day (the woke).

Having taught the Bible verse-by-verse for over 40 years, to untold numbers of people, the moment people begin to actually read and study Scripture for themselves, they have discoveries about truths they were taught or have heard or believed their entire lifetimes and what Scripture actually says.

It is the reason there are always verses, typed carefully from the pages of the Bible and Bible references so you can read the words in your own Bible for yourself.  It is the reason I began writing the WeakEnd Assignment…to urge you to take a deep dive into what the Truth says, not what someone else (including me) says it says.  Why?  Acts 17:11!

Yes, I realise the video above is 41 minutes long but it will be such a blessing to you for your Bible study into the future!

I pray each one of you takes time to listen to every word and consider the TRUTH of the story of Christmas…a gift of gracious hope and love from a God who sacrificed His only, beloved Son on a Cross and who conquered death to rise again and stand as the payment for your sins and mine (past, present and future), so that you have the choice to live with Jesus for eternity…or not.

Take care with love, especially His, from Darlene, who still prays for you each day.
