“John to the seven churches that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace, from Him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven Spirits who are before His throne, and from Jesus Christ, the faithful witness, the first born of the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth.
“To Him who loves us and releases us from our sins by His blood – and He has made us to be a kingdom, priests to His God and Father – to Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
“Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. So it is to be. Amen.” Revelation 1:4-7
When I was growing up, I never imagined a day like today with camera monitoring everything in and outside buildings, on the highways and …well everywhere. I was more concerned with the ‘eyes in the back of my Mom’s head’ that always seemed to know when I was doing something I was not supposed to be doing or when I was in trouble and needed help.
When I began to read the Bible, I quickly grasped the concept that Jesus was always with me…watching and caring. At first, it was concerning but as I’ve grown up in my faith a little bit, I’ve come to embrace the fact that the Lord is always with me, always caring for me and it is my responsibility to turn to Him and listen. What about you?
