Heed His Words!

“And he [the angel] said to me, ‘These words are faithful and true’; and the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent His angel to show to His bond servants the things must soon take place. 

“’And behold, I am coming quickly.  Blessed is he who heeds the words of the prophecy of this book.’

“I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things.  And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed me these things.

“But he said to me, ‘Do not do that, I am a fellow servant of yours and of your brethren the prophets and of those who heed the words of this book.  Worship God.’”
Revelation 22:6-9

We all wonder sometimes if God is paying attention to what is going on in our world.  The fact is, He is sovereign over all and in all.  For those who rest in the grace of Jesus Christ, He has given us a warning that time and all we know will end and it will end quickly.  He cautions us to heed His words and be prepared.  And for this, He promises blessing.
