Easy Discernment of the Truth

“’But I say to you, the rest who are in Thyatira, who do not hold this teaching, who have not known the deep things of Satan, as they call them – I place no other burden on you.  Nevertheless, what you have, hold fast until I come. 

“’He who overcomes, and he who keeps My deeds until the end, to him I will give authority over the nations; and he shall rule them with a rod of iron, as the vessels of the potter are broken to pieces, as I also have received authority from My Father; and I will give him the morning star.’” Revelation 2:24-29

Since I’ve been writing these daily devotions for 25 years now, my major challenge is to clearly present His Truth.  But it is increasingly difficult as teachers and preachers are straying from His Truth for their own gain. 

My little brother and I used to have long and deep discussions about discerning the truth in someone’s teaching.  We concluded there is no better preparation than reading Scripture, so you are well equipped to identify the truth. 

·      The condition - be discerning of the truth

·      The promise - the victorious ones, who remain faithful until the end and continue to please him will rule over His enemies and reign with Him as He judges evil.
